철없이 사랑하고 불안정하고 용감했던 날들의 조각들이 불규칙하게 엉켜 이 백색 페인트 위로 착지하였다.
밴드 딜런의 첫 EP 앨범 [pieces and]
안에는 이 들의 조각들이 흩뿌려져 있다.
흔한 사랑이고 싶었다. 특별하고 싶지도 않고 비판하고 싶지도 않았다.
어여쁘진 않지만 결코 못나지 않은 우리들의 조각들이다. 그리고.
2015 년 드디어 오늘 밤(Feat. 장재인)이 수록된 옴니버스 앨범을 시작으로 본격적으로 활동했던 밴드 '딜런'은
2016 년 디지털 싱글 '1 분 1 초가 아까울 때' 에 이어 1 년여의 준비 끝에 EP 앨범 [pieces and] 를 발매 하였다.
멤버 구성은 신상일(보컬/기타), 이상우(기타), 홍승윤(베이스), 이진욱(드럼) 으로 이루어져 있고
포크 컨트리 음악을 기반으로 레트로적 사운드를 뿜어내는 그들의 음악에는 21 세기와 80 년대가 공존한다.
쏟아지는 컨트리 리듬 위에 80 년 대를 대변하는 레트로적 사운드, 누구나 경험해봤을 공감되는 가사들이
어우러져 듣는 이들의 시간을 되잡아 이끈다. 중간 중간 숨어 있는 노이즈들 또한 매력적으로 다가온다.
이번 EP 앨범 자켓 디자인은 미니멀아티스트 김보경 작가의 꼴라쥬 작업(이미지를 찢어 이어 붙이는 방식)으로
그들의 의미에 깊이를 더해주고 있다.
1. 1 분 1 초가 아까울 때
바쁘게 흘러나오는 드럼 비트, 뒤이어 따라오는 어쿠스틱 기타의 시원한 스트록, 앙칼진 보컬의 예령으로 음악은 본격적으로 시작된다.
재기발랄한 트럼펫 연주와 함께 16beat 로 쪼게지는 악기들의 연주가 쉴새없이 흘러가는 시간을 표현하는 듯 하다.
남자의 순수한 열정이랄까? 3 분이라는 짧은 시간 동안에 빠르게 변하는 감정과 상황들은 듣는 이들의 귀를 자극하기에 충분하다.
2. 넌 내가 필요해
흔히 볼 수 있는 제목같아 보이지만 아니다. '난 너가 필요해' 가 아닌 '넌 내가 필요해'.
어떤 사연인지 가사를 한번 더 들여다 볼 수 밖에 없다.
탄력있는 리듬위에 얹어진 재치넘치는 가사가 매력적인 곡이다.
'생각은 짧고 우리밤은 길어야해' 라는 가사의 반복으로 곡 중 주인공들의 관계를 간접적으로 묘사하고 있다.
3. 드디어 오늘 밤
기분좋은 보컬의 음색으로 소곤소곤 가사를 뱉어간다.
"별을 좋아하는 그녀를 위해 첫 여행을 준비했지만 안 좋은 날씨로 인해 어쩔 수 없이 돌아와야만 했다.
그러나 여행에서 하지 못한 일들을 음악 속에 하나하나 담았다."
컨트리음악이라 하면 다소 투박하게 들릴 수도 있는 장르지만 부드럽고
풍부한 사운드안에서 감성적 가사를 풀어내며 '딜런'이 가지고 있는
컨트리라는 장르의 음악적 영역을 다시금 확인시켜준다.
4. 내 마음을 아프게 하네
"싸우듯 사랑했고, 불현 듯 이별했다."
어렸던 날의 사랑은 항상 불안했다.
서로가 약하기에 서로를 아프게 했던 날들의 연속이었다.
상대방의 말 한마디에 사랑을 의심하고, 또 확신했다.
우리는 생각보다 순수하고 생각보다 바보같다.
5. 28
자극적으로 보일 수 있는 숫자 28.
이 곡안에서 28 은 자극적 성격보다는 적극적 성격으로 묘사된 듯하다.
누군가를 혹은 무언가를 적극적으로 찾아 해매는 주인공의 시선은 아름답다.
마냥 어리지도 않고 성숙된 어른이라 말하기도 어려운 나이 28.
그들은 능숙한듯 미숙하고, 치열하지만 아름답다.
6. 좋겠네
EP 앨범 [pieces and] 의 마지막 조각으로 봄날의 따스함이 물씬 느껴지는 곡이다.
보컬의 잔잔한 속삭임은 음악을 끝까지 집중할 수 있게 손을 내민다.
홈레코딩으로 진행된 이 곡은 원테이크 기법으로 녹음하여 주변의 소음 기타 핸드노이즈 등
자연음들이 곳곳에 수음되어 있어 녹음실 레코딩에서는 쉽게 느낄 수 없는 분위기가 연출된다.
다소 짧은 러닝타임이지만 타이틀 곡 못지않게 힘이 있는 곡이다.

1. Order cancellation
- Cancellation cannot be made after 12:00p.m. on the next day of the order date, though the shipment hasn’t begun.
- If the product hasn’t shipped yet, the cancellation can be made before 12:00p.m. on the next day of order date through email.
- When ordering through deposit, order cancellation before payment is done if payment isn’t made within 3 days.
- If cancellation is received/approved after shipping due to private reasons, then you must pay for round-trip delivery rate to your location.
2. Exchange/Refund
- Exchange/refund request can be registered through email within 7 days after delivery.
- The round-trip shipping rate is charged to the customer for exchange/refund due to customer’s private reasons.
- If refund is approved after request, then we will guide you in regard to the refund charge and round-trip delivery fees.
- If the product is different from our description/advertisement on the page, or you are eligible for exchange/refund due to product malfunction or wrong delivery, then the shipping rate for refund/exchange will be paid by our company.

3. Cases when refund is not possible
- When there is no product failure/wrong delivery
- When no description is offered for reasons for refund
- When seal/tag of the product has been removed
- When the product is used or laundered at least once

- When the refund date has passed
- When the product or its packaging is damaged
4. Delivery Information
- 1) Shipping Charge
- The international shipping price differs according to the weight and rate set by the shipping company (box weight included).

- Generally, delivery is completed within a minimum of 5 to a maximum of 10 business days after payment is completed.
